Welcome To Helping Hands
The Covid-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the global economy. Employment and income loss has had a staggering effect. The impact has resulted in everything from homelessness, food insecurity, and in some casis outright starvation. Feeling compelled to play a role in reversing this trend, Global Growth Ministries has introduced a new international humanitarian-aid mission. The objective of this mission is to provide assistance to households in areas where a lack of or insufficient governmental support intensifies desperation. Thus, the birthing of the Helping Hands program. This page is designed to provide you with updates on our efforts.
Meet Owen Nginja
Owen is a 31-year-old Zimbabwean who was a full-time Bible School student and vendor prior to Zimbabwe’s first national lockdown. Owen has found himself struggling to climb out of what seems like a bottomless pit. Owen, his wife, and his child are living in two rooms that they rent. Before Covid-19 hit, they were able to manage to sustain themselves. Two national lockdowns have left them destitute. He was unable to provide even the basic needs for his family when we learned of his story. Your generous contributions have already made an impact in his life. We are currently working extensive with the Nginjas to empower them to that leap from financial bondage to financial freedom. Click here to read his testimonial. Click here for campaign updates.
